Cornelis "Ken" Johannes Milatz

Cornelis "Ken" Johannes Milatz, late of Weyburn, SK passed away October 23, 2018 at the age of 89 years.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Johannes and Cornelia (Korstjens); his stepmother Anna (de Lange); his siblings: Johannes, Riek, Jan, Apolonia, To, Cornelia, Theodorus;  and his daughter Corrie Klaptchuk.

Ken is survived by his loving wife Kornelia (van Staveren); his children: Anita (Alex) Wlodarczyk, Adelina (Chester) Helmeczi, Janet (Mark) Cameron, Mary Ann (Wayne) Whitman, Paul (Brenda); son-in-law Frank Klaptchuk; his grandchildren: Nicole (Marco) Giusti, Jennifer Wlodarczyk, Lauren (Rory) Neufeld, Vaughn Wlodarczyk; Justin (Melissa), Zachary, Victoria Klaptchuk; Jozsua, Ingrid, Dorjan Helmeczi; Marika (Joel) Sherman, Alexander, Derek, Avery, Nathan Cameron; Kimberley, Brett, Tiana, Janaya Whitman; Danica (Craig) Donnelly, Rogan, Meagan Milatz; his great grandchildren: Emma, Maria, Julia, Thomas Giusti; Madalyn, Jessalyn Klaptchuk; Quinn, Jameson Donnelly; sister Elizabeth van Staveren; sister-in-law Nel (Harding) Milatz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews both in Canada and Holland.

Prayers were held Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Celebrant Fr. Gerry Bauche.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Celebrant Fr. Gerry Bauche.  Active Pallbearers were: Vaughn Wlodarczyk, Derek Cameron, Alexander Cameron, Rogan Milatz, Justin Klaptchuk and Zachary Klaptchuk.  All in attendance were Honorary Pallbearers.  Interment was held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK.  Luncheon followed at McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK.
