Carl Kater Obituary
Carl Kurt Kater, late of Weyburn, SK passed away October 2, 2020 at the age of 86 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Gertrude Kater; infant sister Elfrida; his brothers: Paul, Richard, Gary; brothers-in-law, Arnold Roemer and Bernie Neuberger; sisters-in-law, Diane Kater and Eileen Kater; daughter-in-law Lana McPeek.
Carl is survived by his wife Shirley of 63 years; his children: Sheila Tooke, Regina, SK; Cheryl O’Byrne, Calgary, AB, Greg (Cindy) Kater, Brooks, AB, Carrie (Brad) Wheeler, Weyburn, SK, and Kelly (Stephanie) Kater, Weyburn, SK; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters: Marlene Roemer, Ella Neuberger, Susan (Ron) Kodes; brother Walter Kater; and sister-in-law Elda Kater; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Carl will be held at a later date.
