Arlie Allen Altwasser

Arlie Allen Altwasser, late of Weyburn, SK passed away June 16, 2022 at the age of 77 years.

Arlie was predeceased by his parents, mother Georgie Altwasser (Jones); father Walter (Wally) Altwasser;  his brother Fred Altwasser; Rollen and Pat Jones; nephew Dean Wick; brothers-in-law: Gill Thomson, Dennis Hemus, Marcel Pelletier; and his father-in-law John Fowler.

Arlie is survived by his wife, Darlene Altwasser (Fowler); his children: Arla (Jeff) Bryant; John Altwasser (Wendy); grandchildren: Brett Altwasser (Sheilagh), Fallon Balogh (Tim), Josh Bryant and Jordan Bryant; great grandchildren: Madison, Hudson, Piper and Arlee Altwasser, Ben and Joe Balogh; his sister Amber. Arlie is also survived by his mother-in-law Lola Fowler; sisters-in-law: Joan Fowler-Thomson, Sheila Hemus, Judy (Walter) Ledingham, Fern (Mike) Szczecinski; as well as several nieces, nephews, and special niece Mandy (Gus) Szczecinski.

Arlie was a journeyman plumber by trade including an inter provincial license and first class gas ticket.  He was also involved in the building of several commercial buildings through out Weyburn, including a 12 unit condominium. After building his own cabin, Arlie spent a lot of his free time at White Bear Lake having coffee with friends and creating willow furniture and frames. He was an entrepreneur and the “Jack of all trades.”

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
