Alice Flora Marie Scharnatta late of Midale, SK passed away July 2, 2026 at the age of 99 years.
Alice was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Edward Scharnatta; parents, Otto & Ida Krueger; step father, Earl Skippon; sisters, Margaret, Edith (Everett) Hildahl; brothers, Ernie (Sheryl Ann), Harold (Pauline), Terry (Elvie); son in law, Doug and great grandson, Daniel.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Rob) Wood of California; son, Brian Scharnatta of Midale, SK; grandchildren & great grandchildren, Michael & Laurie Werk (Austin, Ethan, Megan), Jeffrey & Tammy Werk (Brielle (Dan), Joshua, Morgan, Lexi), Kristy & Michael Maier (Caleb, McKenzie, Evan, Arik), Matthew Wood & Maguelone Boe, Andrew & Shelley Wood (Avery, Rhys), Dallas Scharnatta, Amanda Scharnatta as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date when family can all be together to honour Alice’s Memory.
For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Mainprize Manor and Health Centre, Box 128 Midale, SK S0C 1S0.
