Alan "Al" Stuart Obituary
Alan “Al” Dahl Stuart, late of North Bay, Ontario passed away on December 17, 2025 at the age of 87 years.
He is survived by his brother, Scott of North Bay, Ontario; his nephews, Gregory of Welland, Ontario and Peter of Halifax, Nova Scotia; his cousins, Gloria Thachik of Radville, SK and Ann of Regina, SK
Alan was born in Radville, SK to Cameron and Mable Stuart on September 26, 1937. He attended Balfour Tech High School in Regina, SK, leaving school in 1955 to join the RCAF. He spent five years in the military serving a tour duty in Europe before being based at the air force facility at Cold Lake, AB.
Alan’s work after his military service took him to many locations, from Tuktoyaktuk on the DEW line to the war in Vietnam where he was a communications contractor for the U.S. Army. On his retirement, Alan tried his hand as a number of ventures, from investment advisor to District Manager for a fire alarm company. As a testament to his superior intelligence, Alan earned a MENSA certificate certifying that fact.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service at this time.
