Nolan Joseph Richard, late of Weyburn, SK,  passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

Nolan was predeceased by his parents Omer and Glenna Richard.

Nolan is survived by his fiancé Stacy and their son Carson; his daughter Kaydence; siblings: Perry (Shari) Richard and their children Carissa and Carlyle; Carol (Dave) Whiting and their children: Carlene, Clay and Madison; Michelle Richard (Dan Burke) and their children Jordan and Dalton; and his special friends John (Sheila) Shelly.

In Nolan's younger years he often spent time at his sister Carol's acreage and enjoyed being around their horses, which began his love of animals.  His favorite was wolves.

Nolan enjoyed going on road trips with his Dad in the semi which grew an inner passion for all trucks, half tons to semis.

Nolan grew up in the Ketewpa Beach area and graduated Grade 12 in Indian Head.  After graduating from high school, Nolan tried several different careers.  He was a very good carpenter and enjoyed landscaping, but he found a true passion for sand blasting and painting.

His last career change was in 2016 when he lived with John and Shelia and learned how to be a farmer.  Nolan really enjoyed running the combine.  He also worked with John in the winter at the Pat's shop working on the heater trucks.

Nolan had a great love for animals and the great outdoors.  One of his great passions was to go quading and explore places he hadn't seen before. 

Nolan met his true love, Stacy Raymond, on February 1, of last year.  It was love at first sight.  Nolan had asked for her hand in marriage.  They were to be married this year,  Out of the  true love they had for each other a miracle little boy was conceived. Carson Dale Joseph Richard-Raymond  joined us on December 13, 2017. 

Nolan had a definite way to bring laughter and joy to a room!  His heart was bigger than he was!  He showed love and compassion to everyone he knew and worked with.  His charm and workmanship will live on forever  in his little boy Carson, because he looks and acts just like his Dad. 

A Celebration of Life for Nolan was held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Jay Mowchenko officiating.  Luncheon followed the Celebration of Life at RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.  Interment will be held at a later date.
