Myrna Louise Koeckeritz, late of Midale, SK passed away August 2, 2017, at the age of 76 years.

Myrna was predeceased by her parents: Lawrence and Edith Ironside; brother Dale.

Myrna is survived by her husband of 57 years Blake; daughter Deanna; son Brian (Corinne); grandchildren: Tyler (Chrystal), Brianne, Brandon, Jayden; great granddaughter Averi-Ann; brother Harley Ironside; sister Jean Regel; cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK  with Judy Beck officiating. Interment will be held at Westphalia Cemetery, Midale, SK.  Everyone was invited to lunch and fellowship on Monday August 7, 2017 at 4:00pm at the Midale Civic Centre.

Myrna found her passion in cooking and baking and prepared food for thousands of people.  She was in charge of the Midale Catering Committee for many years and retired as head cook at Mainprize Manor.  She enjoyed her big garden and curling, as a participant and as a spectator. She also enjoyed her annual Fish For Freedom ladies' fishing tournament.
