Murray Ormand Hoium

Murray Ormand Hoium, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away August 28, 2019, at the age of 80 years.

Murray was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Carol Hoium; his sister, Gayle Webster; brother, Boyd; father and mother-in-law, Nick and Elsie Ketter; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, John and Maxine McDougall and Frank and Pat Maracle; his nephew, Jason Johnson.

Murray is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hoium; sons: Loni (Faye), Aaron (Cheryl), and Cory (Stephanie); his daughter, Tami (Kevin) Reichert; grandchildren: Kelton, Ketter and Kenzie Hoium, Chanel, Reed and Danica Hoium, Jarret, Jensen and Jace Reichert, Colby and Adalynn Hoium;  brothers and sisters: Myrnice and Allan Johnson, Harleen and Graydon Penman, Sandra and Bob Wright, Leon Hoium, Randy and Denise Hoium, Debbie and Laverne Hockey,Verla and Lonnie Henry and Myles and Cyndee Hoium; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance for Murray was held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Victoria Mwamasika officiating. Interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK with a reception and fellowship following at the Zion Lutheran Church.
