Heather Catherine Keefe

Heather Catherine Keefe, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away March 13, 2018 at the age of 70 years.

Heather was predeceased by her parents Dick and Rena Horn.

Heather is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Murray Keefe; son Devin (Sarah) Keefe and children: Ryan and Malcolm; son Darren Keefe; as well as several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Heather grew up in Carnduff, SK.  After graduating from school, she earned her Secretarial Certificate from Reliance College of Business in Regina, and found a job at Addison & Leyen in Weyburn.  While here, she met Murray Keefe, with whom she would marry and start a family.  She left the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom, but re-entered first as a worker and, eventually, the manager of the Weyburn Comprehensive School cafeteria from 1990 until her retirement in 2008.  In retirement, she enjoyed movies, reading, and the company of family and friends.

A Service of Remembrance was held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating.  Luncheon followed  the service at Upper Grace Hall, Weyburn, SK.  Interment to be held at a later date.
