Floyd Robert McHattie

Floyd Robert McHattie, late of Gladmar, SK, passed away March 17, 2018 at the age of 79 years.

Floyd was predeceased by his parents: John and Martha; brothers: Ken and Edward; sister Margaret Shirley; brothers-in-law: Howard Overbye, Charlie Shirley; mother and father in-law Bill and Mary Duthie, nieces: Leah Ann Hoberg, Mikenzie Hoberg; nephews: Stephen Shirley and David Shirley.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 55 years Eleanor; daughters: Kathy (Lloyd) Langford and their children: Amanda Langford (Hugo Tremblay) their children: [Tenley, Kellen, Emily, Ajaah, and Kayël], James Langford, Samatha Langford (Robin MacDowell); Tracey (Brent) Wuschke and their children: Gabby and Gavin; son Robert (Melissa) McHattie and their children: Tyler (Melissa) McHattie their children: [Lyrik, Maxx, Ty Jr.], Jayden (Connie) McHattie [Talen], Jordan McHattie (Brandon Munro) and their daughter [Hayden], Isabel McHattie and Cole McHattie; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruby (Glen) Hoberg, Jan (Wes) Dynna; sisters-in-law: Margaret Overbye, Irene (Gerry) Kravanya and Marion Barber; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Floyd enjoyed camping, fishing and boating.  He followed his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews to all their sporting activities and events.  Floyd enjoyed having a few drinks while hanging out with his family and friends and listening to good music. 

A Viewing was held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Gladmar Regional School, Gladmar, SK.  A Funeral Service for Floyd was held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Gladmar Regional School, Gladmar, SK with Wendy Caldwell officiating. Active Pallbearers were: Les Hoberg, Chris Hoberg, Jayson McHattie, Mark Dynna, Bruce Kravanya, Mark Overbye, Lorne Oberkirsch and Troy Frederick. Interment took place in the Gladmar Cemetery, Gladmar, SK.
