It is with deep sadness the family of Allan Rudolph Roth announce his passing on Friday 15, 2019 at the age of 91 years with his son Terry at his side.
Allan was predeceased by his father Wilfrid; his mother Edna and sister Shirley.
Allan will forever be remembered by his wife of 70 years, Myrna; his children: Terry (Laurette),Ron (Marie), Laura (Rick); six grandchildren: Jennifer Roth, Mason Roth (Dyan), Kristine Amberson (Shayne), Blaine Roth, Chad Claffey, Brooke Lochbaum (Troy); brother Winston (Marg Phenix); 7 great grandchildren: Eden and Sam Roth, Ryden and Rhett Amberson, Payton Roth, and Cooper and Dawson Lochbaum.
Allan was born in Ceylon, SK on December 16, 1927, living most of his life in his much loved town of Radville. He was very community minded and served as Mayor and Councilor for the town of Radville and president of several community organizations. He was also Lt. Gov. of Kiwanis and President of Saskatchewan Insurance Agents Association. In 1957, he developed Roth Agencies, a successful family insurance and real estate business.
Allan was a huge Blue Jay and Roughrider fan! He especially loved baseball and was honored to be inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame. He idolized Frank Sinatra and "He Did It His Way." "When you speak of him, speak not with tears, for thoughts of him should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort, for his life was rich because of you."
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Laurier Cemetery, Radville, SK.
