Darren Schmidt, late of Weyburn, SK passed away February 17, 2012, at the age of 46 years. Darren was predeceased by his grandparents: Bernie and Kay Lougheed, Adam and Anna Schmidt; brother-in-law, Bryan Woloschuk.

Darren is survived by his wife Barb of Weyburn; his children: Raeghan (Casey Drullette), Weyburn, Dylan, Weyburn; his parents, Wally and Sheila Schmidt, Springside; three siblings: Brad (Wendy) Schmidt, Yorkton, Lori (Melvin) Hnidey, Springside, SK, Brett (Sherry) Schmidt, Airdrie, AB; his father and mother-in-law, Walter ( Maggie) Woloschuk, Yorkton, Carol (Mel) Melnechenko, Yorkton; sister-in-law, Brenda Woloschuk, Yorkton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Darren was held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK. Interment to follow at a later date.
