Anton "Tony" Schmidt,  late of Weyburn, SK passed away March 21, 2016, at the age of 91 years.

Tony was predeceased by his parents: Jacob & Rosie Schmidt; brothers: Joseph, Jacob, William, Edward, Paul; two brothers in infancy: Peter and Brent; sister Veronica Zorn; daughter in infancy Teresa Mary Schmidt.

Tony is survived by his loving wife: Irene Schmidt, Weyburn, SK, three daughters: Shelly (Tyler) Rude, Lake Alma, SK and daughter Kelsey (Urban) Lonie, Regina, SK; Karen (Darrell) McClarty, Saskatoon, SK and their children: Joel, Devon, Brayden; Leanne (Hans) Lund, of Norway and their children: Maria, Eline, Nora; brother Ralph (Sonia) Schmidt, Regina, SK, sisters: Kate Greer,  Saskatoon, SK, Evelyn Corbin, Weyburn, SK, Anne Turner, Abbotsford, BC as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Prayers were held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 7:00pm from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK, Father Gerry Bauche, celebrant. 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Tony was held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:30am from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK. Father Gerry Bauche celebrant. Honorary Pallbearers were all in attendance. Urnbearers were Joel McClarty, Devon McClarty and Brayden McClarty. Lunch was held at the McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK.
