Ivan was predeceased by his parents: Harvey and Luella Beare; his wife, Leona Beare; his brothers: Garfield Beare, Alvin Beare and a sister Enid Stewart.

Ivan is survived by his children: Roderick (Debbie) Beare, Fillmore, SK, children and grandchildren; Leanna (Ian) Pickering, Melfort, SK and their children: Amy Pickering, Saskatoon, SK, Carlee Pickering, Melfort, SK and Erin Pickering, Melfort, SK, Claude (Joanne) Beare, Fillmore, SK and his son: Cordelle Carlberg, Regina, SK and their daughters: Caitlyn Beare, Fillmore, SK, Miya Beare, Fillmore, SK, Camilla Armstrong, Innisfail, AB and her children: Brittany Armstrong, Red Deer, AB, Brandon Armstrong, Lethbridge, AB, Alyssa Armstrong, Nathan Armstrong, Amber Armstrong, Jayde Armstrong and Ashton Armstrong, Innisfail, AB; sisters and brothers-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Ivan was held Friday, September 8, 2016 at 2:00pm from Fillmore United Church, Fillmore, SK with Sharon Elliott officiating.  Interment was held at the Fillmore Cemetery in Fillmore, SK followed with lunch at the Fillmore Memorial Hall, Fillmore, SK.
