Palmer Borger Solie, late of Weyburn, SK passed away May 2, 2016, at the age of 89 years.

Palmer was predeceased his parents: Olaf and Agnes (nee: Brothen) Solie; in-laws: Martin and Kate (nee: Brilz) Fuhro; brother Marvin Solie; sister Lilah Daae, brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe Dusevic, Otto Stojke, Elmer (Veronica) Fuhro, Ricky Fuhro, Margaret Fuhro;  great nephew David Solie.

Palmer is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Eileen (nee: Fuhro) Solie, Weyburn, SK; brother Vernon (Sharon) Solie, Beaubier, SK; sisters: Evelyn Dusevic, Golden, BC, Violet Stojke, Airdire, AB, Verna (Raymond) Daae, Weyburn, SK, sisters-in-law: Lois Solie, Regina, SK, Loretta Furho, Radville, SK; brothers-in-law: Lawrence Daae, Calgary, AB, Edward Fuhro, Winnipeg, MB; as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

A Private Family Graveside Service for Palmer was held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Saron Cemetery, Lake Alma.
