Margaret is survived by her husband Calvin McCormick;  children: Dan (Ann) and children: Kyle, Shane; Barry (Priscilla) and his children: Steven, Adam, Alexander,Rebecca; Randy; Joan (Maurice Casavant) and children: Kane, Koby, Reegan; Stacey; sisters: Jane Allary, Susan (Terry) Steadman; brothers-in-law Jim York, Murray (Elma) McCormick; sister-in-law Elaine Affleck; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Margaret was born in Weyburn, SK and took her schooling at Souris School.  When she was young she and her sisters would spend summers at Carlyle lake at their grandparents cabin.  Margaret married Calvin McCormick of Weyburn on November 8, 1958 and moved out to the country east of Weyburn.  She was kept busy as a wife, mother, gardener, 4-H mom, homecraft leader and later on to work as a Nurses' Aide for 16 years at the Weyburn Special Care Home.  After her retirement she took on one of her favorite roles as a loving grandmother.

Margaret was an avid gardener and loved her flower gardens.  She enjoyed tending to the abundance of flowers around the yard as well as at her cabin in Moosomin Lake.  She and Calvin loved spending time at the lake where her sister Sylvia also had a cabin nearby. Margaret was not a big traveler but she enjoyed trips to BC to visit her sister Jane, a trip to Arizona and one to the Yukon and Alaska that she and Calvin enjoyed immensely.

Margaret was a very kind, loving woman with a gentle spirit who loved the simpler things in life.  She was truly happiest when she was surrounded by her family, close friends and beautiful flowers.  She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.
