Ivadell Clarice Vargo

Ivadell Clarice Vargo, late of Gladmar, SK, "went west" on November 17, 2017, at the age of 98 years.
Ivadell was predeceased by her husband Edward (1983); brothers: Alfred and Arthur Ehrhardt; sister Adeline Buttgeriet.
Ivadell is survived by her sons: Trevor (Sam) Vargo, Bernel Vargo (Donnie Campbell; granddaughter: Chelsey (Mark) Vargo-Wilson and their daughter Hazel Ivadell; sister Evelyn Tangedahl (101 years young); brother-in-law Walter (Butch) Buttgeriet; sister-in-law Martha Ehrhardt; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was born and raised by Fred & Thea Ehrhardt in Gladmar, SK where she spent the majority of her life. She married Ed Vargo in June of 1941 and together they ran a lunch bar (where she baked as many as 17 pies daily); tried their hand at farming and then opened and ran Ed's Grocery in Gladmar for 24 years; as well as a store in Minton for 6 years, with Bernel's help. They also ran the post office in Gladmar for several years.
At the age of 86 years, Mom moved to the Golden Heritage Home in Radville and enjoyed her years there until her health prevented her from living alone.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and caregivers at the Bengough Health Centre and especially those at the Radville Marian Home where she stayed until her passing.
A Celebration of Life for Ivadell was held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Lutheran Church, Gladmar, SK with Pastor Martin Olson officiating. Interment is to be held at a later date.
