Helen Anderson- McFadden, late of Weyburn, SK passed away September 17, 2017 at the age of 83 years.

Helen was predeceased by her son Miles Anderson; parents: Wendell and Lila Peterson; brother Mervin Peterson; sister Doris Mundell; brother-in-law Roy Mundell; nephew Dylan McNabb.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her partner of 42 years Douglas McFadden; son Brian (Nadine) Anderson, Cobblehill, BC; daughter JoAnn (Allan) Hauglum, Midale, SK; grandchildren: Tyler (Bridgett) Anderson, Tamara Anderson (Rob Sindia), Cory (Note) Torgunrud, Lacy (Tyler) Scrupps; great grandchildren: Alexander and Zoey Anderson; Taylor, Kahuna, Aleisha and Jorja Sindia; Kole, Preston, Haylee and Dawson Scrupps; step daughters: Maggie and Stella McFadden; step granddaughter Courtney; sisters-in-law: Rena Peterson (Helen’s best friend), Whitefox, SK, Margaret Zaborski, Weyburn, SK, Linda McFadden, Weyburn, SK, Doreen Rice, St. Albert, AB; nephews and nieces: Carter Mundell, Calgary, AB, Ross Peterson, Whitefox, SK, Janice Peterson, Saskatoon, SK; as well as many great nephews and nieces whom she loved so very much.

Helen was born on June 4, 1934 to Wendell and Lila Peterson.  The youngest of three children.  Helen's pride and joy was her family, showering everyone with hugs and kisses.  She graduated from Nursing School in Winnipeg as a C.N.A.  and worked at Midale Church Nursing Home.  Helen was well known for her baking and was extremely excited about her garden every year.

A Private Family Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.  Interment will be held at a later date.
