Evelyn Jean Logel passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2016 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents: Fred and Eleanor Duce; sister Irene Griemann;  son William John (Jack) Logel.

Evelyn is survived by her husband: Harold “Bud” Logel; daughter: Janice (Bruce) Clark and children Kelly (Jill) Clark, Kyla (Jeremy) Forster, Curtis (Morgan) Clark; son Lyle (Colleen) Logel and children Brian (Abbey) Logel, Dale (Jennifer) Logel, Jessica (Darren) Kurtz, Evann (Derek) Kurtz; Jack’s children: Nathan Logel, Chris (Christina) Logel; 17 great grandchildren; brother Robert (Val) Duce; brother-in-law Peter Griemann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life for Evelyn was held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2:00pm. from the Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating, Honorary Pallbearers were: Lee McLeod, Loretta Birnie, Ross and Donna Windrim, Richard and Ann Schneider, Eric and Marion Loucks. Interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK followed with lunch at the Royal Canadian Legion, 150 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
